According to a research, there is a simple method that can help you to find out in which condition is your heart. Health experts suggest that, if you can supple to reach your toes, your heart is in good shape.

Heart and Circulatory Physiology Journal, published a story that explains how easy is to test the condition of your heart, just by touching your toes.

This method couldn’t be simpler. All you need to do is to sit on the floor and stretch your legs and feet. Your toes must point up.

Reach out with your hands to touch the tip of your toes. If your body is flexible enough to touch them, this means that your heart is flexible and healthy too.

Another study, conducted by researchers from the University of North Texas and Japanese, involved 526 participants between the age of 28 and 83.

They firstly performed a test for body suppleness, while their heart activity, blood pressure and arteries were measured. The results from the study found a link between the body and artery elasticity, especially in participants over 40.

Explanation for this, researchers found in that, that those who couldn’t reach their toes had stiff blood vessels. The stiffened blood vessels can indicates a worsened heart state and this increases the risk of heart disease.

Dr. Yamamoto, a Japanese researcher, says that if you can’t touch the tip of your toes while sitting straight, you may need to see a cardiologist. And if you are flexible enough to touch them, your heart is still quite good.
