We are all aware of the fact that our hair will turn grey as we age, but a lot of people blame it on their children, their work, their long working hours and their lack of sleep for it. As the years pass, you will definitely notice a grey hair or two along your the line of your hair, and this part of life is definitely inevitable. Or not?

But, instead of having some permanent hair color box right next to your side at all times, you should turn to what we have to offer – a natural way to darken your hair! And you would not even have to go to the beauty salon for it, because you can try this in the comfort of your own home.

Grey Hair

It is very effective, and you will never ever guess what is it – it is potato peels!

How can this be? Well, the potato peels contain starch which act as a natural color that will help you cover all those grey hairs in a slow process that can last from a couple of weeks to a month or two months the most.

For this recipe you will need five or six potatoes, and make sure they are large or at least a medium size, a trainer, a large bowl, a large pot, one bottle of shampoo, moisturizing shampoo or a conditioner and a towel. What you have to do first is remove the peels of the potatoes.

Then, put the potatoes aside and take the peels into a large saucepan. Fill the pot up with half a gallon of water, boil it, and leave the peels to boil for a period of 20 t 30 minutes.

Then, take the strainer and strain this liquid, while pouring it into a bowl. Take out the potato shells and save the strained liquid.

Leave this water to cool of completely before transferring it into an empty shampoo bottle. Wash your hair like you  usually do with your shampoo and conditioner.

Then, pour the potato peel over your hair to rinse it thoroughly. Take a towel and wrap it around your hair, and then dry it out as you probably usually do.

If you repeat this procedure for several weeks or months, two or three times within a week, you will be most satisfied with the results!
