First, exhale through your mouth, making a whoosh sound. Then,close your mouth and quietly inhale through your nose for a count of four.
Hold your breath to the count of seven, and then exhale completely through your mouth to the count of eight. This is one cycle. Repeat this cycle for three more times, making a total of four times.
What you need to emphasize on when doing this technique is to hold your breath for eight seconds. This is all because the keeping the breath in will allow your lungs to fill up with oxygen and then circulate through the body. This produces a relaxing effect.
